We like to keep things simple, and the focus on having fun. As such, our club member prices really are quite cheap.
There are 2 components to our membership - our actual club membership as well as registration with Mountain Bike Australia.
Why a membership fee?
The club membership fee goes to the ongoing running of the club. We try and put as much of this as possible back into the improvement of the club itself and events we run. The fee payable to MTBA allows you access to all of the benefits offered by them and importantly, means you have personal accident insurance. It also means you can, with the right type of membership, enter competition races.
So what does it cost?
Quite simply, if you are above the age of 18, your membership fee to the club will be $25 per year plus the cost of your MTBA registration. If you are under the age of 18, the cost will be $10 plus MTBA.
Which MTBA membership should I get?
Well, that's up to you. If you just want to ride socially, then a recreational membership might be the best option. If you plan on racing a lot, then the racing membership will probably be best. If you have a recreational membership but want to race, most races will offer a 'day race licence', just check with the race organisers in advance.
I'm new and just want to try it out?
Cool, MTBA offer free 8 week recreational licences, and you still get the same benefits.
How do I join?
The button below will take you to where you need to go. When going through the new or renew membership process you will be asked to select a club. Just search for VOGA Cycle Club in Creswick.
